Arrival and Registration

Upon arrival, please register with the Golf Shop, which is located on the left-hand side of the main courtyard car park.

Course Information

The Old Course measures 6,400 yards from the yellow tees and stretches out to over 7,000 yards from the Championship blue tees. It is designed to offer a fun and enjoyable challenge to golfers of every level. The course sits on flat terrain, with character and definition provided by wooded areas and water hazards. This course has notably hosted the European Seniors, Challenge Tour, and Euro-Pro Tours.

Pre-Round Warm-Up Facilities

You are welcome to warm up at our PGA Golf Academy before your round. Practice facilities include a 16-bay driving range powered by Toptracer, a short game area, a putting green, and a 9-hole Par 3 course.

Facilities and Hire

Food & Beverage: Food is served in The Fairway Grill Bar & Restaurant and Tommy Fleetwood Lounge, located in the main clubhouse, from 7:30 am until 9:00 pm.

Golf Car & Trolley Hire: To reserve a golf car or electric trolley, please contact the Golf Shop. Hire fees for golf buggies and trolleys are to be paid in advance. Golf cars can only be hired by golfers aged 16 years and over, and a hire agreement must be signed before use. Only 2 riders and 2 sets of clubs are permitted per golf car.

Late Arrival

You may miss your scheduled tee time if you arrive later than 15 minutes before your slot. In this event, we will move your booking to the next available tee time. Refunds cannot be given in the event of late arrival and a missed tee time.

Cancellation Policy

We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy. Should you need to amend or cancel your reservation, please contact the golf shop on +44 (0)1704875699 or by email at golf@formbyhallgolfresort.co.uk Any reduction in players or cancellation of the tee time within 48 hours will still be chargeable.

Adverse Weather Conditions

In the event of adverse weather conditions, we reserve the right to restrict the use of golf buggies. Fog may restrict visibility, which may lead to delayed starting times. If we close the course, we will provide green fee vouchers or reschedule your booking.
