About Your Stay

What time is check‑in and check‑out?

Check‑in is from 3:00 pm.

Check‑out is by 11:00 am.

Early check‑in or late check‑out may be available on request (subject to availability).

Can I request a late check‑out?
Late check‑out may be available for a small fee, depending on availability — just ask our Front Desk team on check in.

Are rooms available with special features (e.g., accessible rooms, ground floor)?
Yes — we offer accessible rooms and other room types. Please contact us directly to confirm your needs when booking and find out more about our accessibility.

Can I request a specific room or upgrade?
Yes — accessible rooms, suites, and rooms with scenic views can be requested. Upgrades are subject to availability and may incur a fee.

Do you accommodate families or large groups?
Absolutely — we offer family rooms, adjoining rooms, and packages for large groups, weddings, and corporate events.

Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes — complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.

The Pool & Gym

What are the opening times for the pool?

The opening times for our swimming pool are: 6am till 9pm, Monday – Friday. 7am till 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Kid’s splash times are 10am – 11am and 5pm – 6pm (These may be extended over school half-terms)

Is it possible to use the pool or gym without a booking or membership?

Unfortunately not. Our pool is for exclusive use of members, overnight guests and those booked in for a spa day package.

Dining

What dining options are available on site?
Our restaurant and bar areas serve a wide range of seasonals dishes, including breakfast, Sunday Roasts and both a la carte and bar/grill options. Guest can also enjoy relaxed dining, afternoon tea, and special event menus, plus barista coffee in our coffee bar.

Do you offer room service?
Yes — our full menu can be ordered direct to your room until 9pm. Drinks can be pre-ordered to be in your room on check-in.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes — please inform us at booking or on arrival. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly options are available.

Can I book private dining or special events?
Yes — private dining, celebrations, and event catering can be arranged through our Sales or Events team.

Golf & Leisure

Do you have a golf course on-site?
Yes — a championship 18-hole golf course, suitable for beginners and experienced golfers. Tee times and golf packages can be booked in advance. You can also enjoy one of the best 9-hole courses in the region with our Woodhey Dunes links course. 

Can non-residents play golf?
Yes — guests and visitors can book rounds, lessons, and golf packages without staying overnight.

Are golf lessons available?
Yes — as a PGA academy, you can book lessons at Formby Hall with professional PGA instructors directly with our Golf Reception or online.

Is there a golf shop?
Yes — we have a fully stocked pro shop offering equipment, apparel, and accessories.

Spa & Wellness

What facilities are in the spa?

How do I book treatments or spa days?
Treatments can be booked online, via phone, or at the Spa Reception. Advance booking is recommended for peak times.

Is the spa suitable for children?
Spa access is for over 16's only and under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Children do have access to the pool when staying in the resort.

Weddings, Meetings & Events

Do you host weddings and corporate events?
Yes — the resort has dedicated venues, planners, and bespoke packages for weddings, conferences, and private events.

Are there packages for business meetings?
Yes — we offer day delegate packages, multi-day residential conferences, AV equipment, and catering options for groups of 10 or more.

Can I book seasonal packages or special offers for events?
