We are delighted to share some exciting updates about your Leisure Club membership and our continued investment in enhancing your experience here at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa.
Over the past year, we’ve been working hard to improve our facilities, upgrade our equipment, and strengthen our team — all to deliver the very best health, fitness, and wellbeing experience for our members.
Facility Improvements
Completed & Coming Soon
We’ve already invested £195,000 this year to enhance your experience, including:
- Major plant room upgrades improving pool and spa water quality
- Brand new Technogym Excite Live and Selection 700 equipment with MyWellness integration
- New gym flooring, lighting, paintwork, and décor
- A full spa pool refurbishment
Further investments of £40,000 are already committed, including:
- Changing room refurbishments with all new lockers
- Additional gym décor enhancements, including new mirrors and cladding
These upgrades show our continued commitment to maintaining service quality and acting on your valued feedback.
Membership
Structure Update
From 1st January 2026, our membership categories will be simplified to offer more flexibility and value:
Single: £85 per month or £850 annually
Leisure Joint: £150 per month or £1,500 annually
Leisure Intermediate (16–24 years): £70 per month or £700 annually
(All prices based on a 12-month membership.)
Please note: Junior/child memberships will no longer be available. However, adult members can bring a child as a pool guest for £5 per visit (pool access only).
We’ve absorbed rising operational costs for several years without increasing prices, but these changes ensure we can continue to provide the quality, investment, and member benefits you deserve.

Renewal Process
Renew as a Single or Joint 12-month member between 10th December and 28th December 2025 will not incur a renewal/joining fee. Anyone joining after this date, the £50 joining fee will be applicable.
Sign up to a 12-month Single or Joint membership by the 28th December and receive:

£30 restaurant voucher
3 guest passes a year
100% off renewal fee**
