Our 9-hole Woodhey Dunes Course captures the true challenges of links golf with strategically placed riveted pot bunkers and large fast undulating greens, added to this the presence water hazards and the seaside breeze and you have the sternest of tests for golfers of all levels.

The Woodhey Dunes 9-hole Par 3 course at Formby Hall provides a memorable golf experience for all ages and abilities. Sat on sand dune style landscape, the course captures the true spirit of links golf, both visually and technically.
The Woodhey Dunes is also well suited for golfers tight on spare time as 9 holes can be completed in around an hour.
The course has also played host to the PGA North Region PAR 3 Championship qualifier. The signature hole is the 2nd, an excellent hole with an island green hole that makes this 9hole course a must play.
