Supported by GASP, the Swing Analysis Room is powered by GASP lab video Software integrating a force plate platform, 3D wireless K-Vest, Trackman ball tracking technology and SAM Put-Lab providing our golf Instructors and pupils with the most complete system in the UK.
The Academy uses multi angle digital video analysis allowing us to accurately diagnose errors at set-up and during the swing.
Synchronised with our GASP video analysis system the addition of the new state of the art 3D wireless K vest instruction system allows us to create a virtual reality computer generated 3-D model of your body motion during your golf swing. Your biomechanical profile provides our coaching staff with unparalleled data and statistics bringing motion analysis to a new level.
Linked together with video and 3-D motion analysis, the force plate has 2500 sensors allowing you to view data across the whole foot as well as the centre of gravity and pressure on the floor. The force plate is also integrated into our GASP lab software where you can view the data from the force plate along with live video footage, high speed or normal frame rates with other statistical information like launch and tracking data.
Our short game tuition will be supported using SAM Putt Lab motion analysis. When it all comes down to the short shots any tiny unnecessary movement is destructive and will inevitably affect your score.
TrackMan uses a sophisticated phased array Doppler radar to measure the ball flight. The same technology is used in military applications for the purpose of tracking missiles.
Synchronised with GASP lab, TrackMan is the first of its kind to map the entire flight of the golf ball from impact to landing and until it finishes moving Delivering real-time data and graphics on club movement, ball launch, the flight and landing. The choice of the PGA Tour, USGA, TV broadcasters and R & A, TrackMan has set the industry standard for accuracy.
TrackMan measures the full trajectory of any shot, ranging from short pitches to 400-yard drives and measures the landing position with an accuracy of 1 foot at 100 yards. Our expert team of PGA Instructors can then translate the Trackman data and prescribe the correct exercises to improve your golf.
