Formby Hall Spa nominated for Best Spa Award
Having been awarded the 4 Bubbles mark, Formby Hall Spa has now been nominated for Best Spa in the North West at the 2012 Good Spa Awards. Spa guests, past and present, can support our nomination by voting online for Formby Hall Spa. Jackie Gordon, Spa Manager at the Formby Hall Spa, believes that the nomination is testament to the outstanding spa treatments that her team provides saying, "The nomination for Best Spa in the North West will be hotly contested and it is testament to all the Formby Hall Spa therapists of the hard work and attention to care and detail that they demonstrate with all the clients attending the Spa. New Spa Manager appointed
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jackie Gordon as Spa Manager at the Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa. Welcoming Jackie's appointment, Marc Smith, General Manager of Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa commented, "We have built up a considerable reputation as a leading luxury Spa in the North West of England and we were keen in the selection process to engage an outstanding individual that had the breadth of management experience as well as the indepth knowledge of the industry in this key strategic role. Jackie's credentials stood out for us in the selection process and matched our high level expectations. We very much welcome Jackie Gordon to the Formby Hall management team and look forward to working with her." Jackie Gordon started her career in the hotel trade after leaving school and has worked both in beauty and spa therapy treatments as well as branching out to gym and leisure, although her passion and expertise is clearly in spa therapy treatments. Commenting on her appointment Jackie said, "I am very proud to now be part of an amazing team of people here at Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa. This is an outstanding Resort and one where the Spa and the therapists boast an amazing reputation and following. It's an exciting moment in my career to have been appointed the Spa Manager."

Dress
We think you are beautiful but ask that in the wet areas and for treatments you wear appropriate clothing; your therapist can help with selecting the right attire.
