"We celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday at the hotel. We had a fantastic time and loved every minute of it…..we were amazed at the size of this 'Standard Room'. The Restaurant is beautiful and when it got a little darker it was very romantic overlooking the golf course…..Overall it was a fantastic day/night and I would recommend it to any couples looking for a break. We will definitely be staying again"

"I have just returned from a visit to this enchanting hotel spa. I have never experience such a wonderful time on a one-night stay and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier if they tried…I cannot recommend this hotel enough but don’t tell anyone else.........."

"We stayed at this hotel in December 2011 and we had a lovely break away from home…..
The rooms were really quite nice, kept spotlessly clean and there was no noise from those around.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can only recommend it was a good way to spend a couple of days break before the madness of the Christmas period.

We stayed at Formby Hall for a couple of nights and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean the bathroom was luxurious. The rooms are quite quiet, you do not hear noise from the car parks or corridors. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was very nice and a snack in the 19th hole which was also well presented and good value. Drinks are also quite reasonable unlike some hotels I have visited. I would certainly go back again if I am ever in the area again."
