The PGA Golf Academy at Formby Hall boasts state of the art equipment for accurate detailed analysis of shots to help choose the equipment that is statistically suitable to the golfer and his/her golf swing.
Using modern day equipment can be considered essential, but must be suitable to each individual. Standard clubs are available off the shelf, but there is no industry standard. Therefore to maximise your playing potential, you must use clubs that offer the playing characteristics individual to you.
Through measurements in club head speed, ball speed, vertical and horizontal spin on the ball and launch angles of the golf ball, our PGA Professionals at Formby Hall PGA Academy can interpret the data to select the appropriate equipment for everyone’s game.
