Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa currently has two golf courses; a 18 hole, 72 par course know as The Old Course and a new 9 hole, par 3 course.

My husband is a keen golfer but it really isn't my cup of tea, does Formby Hall offer anything for me to do while he spends his time on the course?

Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa, as the name suggests now boasts a luxury spa and health club. Why not treat yourself to one of our spa packages which include treatments from Phytomer and Leighton Denny Nails, beforehand, why not relax in our indoor heated swimming pool. If you prefer to be more active, our new fully equipped health club and KINESIS studio will be right up your street.

Whether you want to host your whole wedding at Formby Hall or whether you would just like to hold your reception there, we have a package which will be perfect for you.

How far are you from Liverpool City Centre?

Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa is about 15 miles from Liverpool, close enough for you to visit and far enough away for us to provide a relaxing and picturesque location for you to relax in.

I have just booked myself in for a spa package at Formby Hall and I was wondering what I need to bring, wear etc?

We would always suggest arriving 15 minutes early for your treatment, especially if it is your first time as there will be a few questions you will need to answer with your therapist. Upon arrival you will be provided with a robe, towel and slippers (which can be purchased should you wish to take them home). You will also be treated to a cup of fresh leaf tea or a cup of Columbian coffee and given a guided tour of our facilities so you can make the most out of your time with us.

Does your golf course have a dress code?

Yes, we advise visitors and members to wear trousers or shorts, shirts and shoes but we have a few rules in place which we kindly ask visitors and members to follow when using the Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa golf course, they are:

Trousers - denim jeans, tracksuits and military-style attire (combats) are not considered appropriate on the golf course or in the clubhouse
Shorts - Tailored shorts can be worn at any time providing they are accompanied by grey sports socks.
Shirts - Collared shirts / roll necks / turtle neck tops must be worn and tucked into trousers or shorts at all times.
Shoes - Trainers are not permitted on the course or in the clubhouse, golf shoes must be worn on the golf course.
Caps - Caps should not be worn the wrong way round (i.e. peak at the back or side) and must not be worn in the clubhouse.
